Vinification: In temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks (24/26°C). Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, the “concia” (fortification) process is carried out, adding wine-derived ethyl alcohol and cooked grape must (mosto cotto) to the base wine, allowing it to acquire the sensory complexity typical of the Marsala wine
Colour: Amber with golden reflections
Bouquet: Intense and remarkably complex, featuring aromas of candied fruit and dried figs, combined with woody and spicy notes given by the oak barrels
Taste: Smooth and harmonious, the palate mirrors the nose, leading into a fine, pleasant finish
Alcohol content: 18% vol.
Residual sugar: 30 grams/litre
Minimum wood aging: 2 years in oak casks
Minimum bottle aging: 3 months
Food pairings: A classic dessert wine that beautifully pairs with cottage cheese and almond pastries, dried fruit and medium to long-aged cheese
