Close your eyes for just a moment. Feel the gentle embrace of the wind and the warmth of the sun; breathe in the rich fragrances filling the air: the scent of the sea, the Mediterranean vegetation, and the soil. You cannot be mistaken… You are in Marsala, the ‘land of wine’.
With wit and foresight, the English merchants who landed here in the 18th century immediately understood that the local grapes could produce something remarkably similar to Spanish and Portuguese fortified wines: the wine later celebrated worldwide as ‘Marsala’.
In this land rich in vineyards, our three families of winemakers decided in 1997 to take over the ‘Cantine Vinci’ brand, embarking on a new adventure to transform their own grapes into wines of consistent and undisputed quality.
Stepping from growers to winemakers wasn’t an easy task. However, the experience passed down through generations, helped us understand which bunches yield the best wine, the optimal times for harvesting, and which soils best enhance the unique properties of each cultivar.
Growing high-quality grapes has thus become the cornerstone of producing exceptional wines. Over time, our families’ wisdom, dedication, and commitment to excellence have been well rewarded. Today, Cantine Vinci boasts significant awards for producing wines that, once tasted, are truly unforgettable.
